Booking your Holiday
1. Following a provisional reservation, a deposit must be received within seven days,
We will confirm your chosen arrangements and acknowledge your payment by sending you a confirmation of your booking. Check this confirmation together with all other documents to ensure they fully agree with your instructions.
Following confirmation we will send you the invoice of the outstanding balance to be paid either by Cash/Visa/Master Card or Travelers Cheque to Fantasea on your arrival in Dahab.
2. Should you wish to make any changes to your booking after it has been confirmed, please advise us as soon as possible in writing.
When a member of your party is prevented from traveling i.e. - as a result of personal injury, illness, illness of a close relative or unavoidable work commitments, the person concerned may transfer his or her booking to another qualified person provided we are notified no less than 14 days before departure.
Cancellation by you
3. You have an option to cancel your holiday arrangements which must be exercised in writing and sent by fax or recorded delivery to our UK representative.
The fees below for this option are shown below.
Before departure:
* More than 6 weeks all deposit refunded.
* Less than 6 weeks no deposit refundable.
Insurance
4. It is your responsibility to ensure that adequate travel insurance is taken out prior to departure. For those diving, diving insurance can be arranged on arrival at Fantasea. Should you have your own diving insurance please provide us with a copy of it.
Tour Prices
5. The prices in our brochure are valid to 30th November 2007. Fantasea reserves the right to alter the prices as a result of fluctuation in exchange rates or transfer prices, in which case an amended invoice will be sent to the client. If the alteration results in an increase of more than 15% of the original price quoted, the client may cancel the booking and obtain a full deposit refund.
Unused Services
6. No refund or compensation can be obtained from FANTASEA RED SEA for any unused accommodation, service or feature. No refund is exchangeable or assignable. If clients make any alterations to any portion of their holiday it will be completely at their own expense.
Responsibilities (Force Majeure)
7. Fantasea Red Sea only accepts responsibility for arrangements of your holiday which are wholly within its control. Fantasea has no direct control over the supply of services for the holiday and accordingly does not accept any responsibility or liability for the action of suppliers of such services, their employees or agents, but will give all reasonable assistance in resolving any complaint or claim.
Fantasea Red Sea accepts no responsibility and shall not be liable for any loss or damage or expenses arising from delays, transport failure, strikes, political unrest, hostilities, war or threat of war, terrorist activity, fire, flood, government action or any force majeure.
Holiday Description
8. The information about the tours featured here was given in good faith and considered accurate at the time of publication. By signing the booking form you accept it might be necessary to vary or modify any tour itinerary or its contents due to local prevailing conditions, and agree to be bound by the tour leader or representative. If this occurs Fantasea reserves the right to substitute alternative arrangements without compensation and accept no liability for loss of enjoyment of the holiday described in the brochure as a result of such changes.
Passport, Visa and Health Requirements
9. It is your responsibility to ensure all members of your party have all necessary passports and visas prior to departure. For those booking tours in Egypt and Ras Mohammed a full Egyptian visa is required.
We cannot accept any responsibility if you are denied entry into the country or onto any flight due to inadequate travel documentation. Any costs or expenses incurred as a result will be your responsibility.
Details of current passports, visas and health documents required for your arrangements are available on request.
Requirements do change from time to time and you should check the up to date position well before departure. Our UK representative is also available for more up to date information.
Diving Conditions
10. Clients are obliged to produce their recognised diving qualifications and log books before diving can commence. Certified divers who have not dived for more than 6 months will be required to do a refresher dive (PADI scuba tune up).
If clients have any medical history conflicting with normal diving requirements (see Useful Information page) a medical certificate is necessary. Clients enrolling in the PADI Open Water dive course will be required to bring a medical statement signed by a doctor stating they are fit and healthy to dive and do not have any medical history of lung disorders, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes or recent surgery.
All divers agree to discontinue diving if any medical problems occur during the holiday (e.g. respiratory congestion, head cold or any other condition incompatible with diving).
Diving Liability
11. Whilst Fantasea makes every effort to ensure the highest safety and standards, clients are advised that diving takes place at their own risk and that certain dive sites are remote by distance or time from a recompression chamber.
Fantasea or any of its employees, agents or assigns cannot be held responsible in any way for damage, injury or death to the participants arising from accidents during your tour. Fantasea reserves the right to refuse service to any persons whose actions or conduct Fantasea considers incompatible, unsafe or offensive to other clients. No further liability will be owed to that person by Fantasea thereafter.
Complaints
12. If you are unhappy about any aspect of your holiday arrangements please inform our staff immediately. We will promptly try to resolve any problems and mitigate any losses, expenses or costs you incur.
